Steve,
A few changes to the comments... see below.
By the way... the dogs were on leashes, but should they be allowed on
the field?
Thanks
Jen

Subject: Jen - please check Sub-junior Incident report
Jen - at the Team Managers & Coaches meeting on Wed 29 Mar
I was informed the way to lodge a complaint is to write to the Secretary
who will then forward it XXXXXXXX
Would you check if I have the details right and if I can include your
and Joanne's name as the parents who complained.
If you send back today I will lodge it straight away so it is lodged
in the same week the incident takes place
The preamble is because at the meeting we had a discussion about
who was the Peak Body for junior sports in Australia.
Thanks Steve

SUB-JUNIOR COMPLAINT
COMPLAINT TYPE: 1 Inappropriate comments to sub-juniors
DAY: Sun 26 Mar 2006
GROUND: XXXXXXXX Park
PITCH: Mini 6
TIME: 10:45
TEAMS:
Home: XXXXXXXX U8 XXXXXXX
Visitor: XXXXXXXX U8 XXXXXXX
INCIDENT:
a The XXXXXXXX had just finished a game which they had
lost heavily
b After the game the XXXXXXX players were patting two dogs on the
side-lines.
c The man made a comment to a parent... "Their names are "Deaf"
and "Stupid" and they would probably be good recruits for your team".
d The man then said, "I don't guess an appropriate thing to say". The
parent replied, "Yes, you're correct". A few of the Hawks players were
in hearing distance of the comments.
e The parent took offence and told another parent whom they both
took offense to these comments and asked me to file a complaint
about inappropriate comment in front of young players
