Hi Cathy - Happy New Year ! I hope you had a great Christmas and 
New Year break

I thought it may be helpful for the 2006 Management Committee if
I could illustrate how, by using e-mail, we can endeavour to meet
Peter's direction for the Management Committee to receive the previous
Minutes and the reports 1 week before the next committee meeting
which is scheduled for Wed 11 Jan 2006.

I provide my report as the Sponsorship Officer on a proposed Sponsorship 
plan for the next 12 months.

The idea is that the management Committee may want to review this 
before the meeting and prepare questions or contact me by e-mail
prior to the meetings to clarify issues

At my meeting with Peter on 24 Dec he provided me with a copy of a 
revised Organisation Chart which identified a number of new Volunteer
positions including a Senior, Junior and Sub-junior Web Co-ordinators.

This 12 month Sponsorship Plan has been prepared to build on the 

1	Objectives of the Club to provide a Community Service, 

2	the hard work contributed by the Management Committee over a number
	of years to build a great organisation for Youth development

3	a good web-site 

MANAGEMENT SUMMARY

a	Currently PRSLFC has a web-site with 7 Sponsor Logos

b	According to the Marketing Research conducted, very few
	people look at the web-site because it does nor provide
	results as these are on MWFC site and it does not have any
	other activities that are of interest to the players or the
	parents

c	It is proposed that the web-site is developed to give members 
	reasons to access the Sponsors web-site on a regular basis 
	eg 

	1	regular social events

	2	match results for other teams not on the MWFC web-site

	3	special offers by local businesses eg special offers
		for Australia Day etc

d	It is proposed to provide a number of Social Activities over 12 months 
	that will encourage Sponsors and Members to appreciate the web site
	and visit it each week for 12 months to book for the events

	These Social Activities are proposed to provide a service to both
	two parent and single parent families

	A Social Event e-mail update would be sent each week to
	PRSLFC members to enable them to register an interest in the 
	events

	Examples of Social Activities that could either be held at the RSL,
	Ajax Park or down at Kitchener Park could be

	Jan	Aus Day 	Thank You BBQ to last year's Team Mgrs/Coaches

	Feb	Over 35's 	Dinner/Dance-Trivia evening

	Mar	All		PRSLFC Beach Carnival - Ajax Park

	Apr	Seniors		Games evening - inter team games

	May	Juniors		Inter-team games

	Jun	All		Winter Solstice Dance

	Jul	Sub -Juniors	Talent Quest

	Aug	All		A trip to Lunar Park	

	Sep	All		A Day at the Races

	Oct	All		End-of-Season Dance		

	Nov	All		Toys for Hospitalised Kids Party

	Dec	All		Pittwater Christmas Cruise	

e	It is proposed to minimise the basic cost for Sponsors so that the 
	return to PRSLFC will be based on the number of hits and new 
	business received by the Sponsors

f	It is proposed that there are a number of levels of Sponsorship 
	possibly
	
	1	Platinum - Lump sum logo on shirts, Web Home Page

	2	Diamond - Web-page/Document eg Coaching Manual

	3	Gold - Event Sponsorship - Gala Day, Coach Evenings

	4	Silver - Team Web-site Sponsorship - 3 sponsors/team

	5	Bronze - Static web-page eg Equipment Asset web-page

g	It is proposed that each event is self funding and each event 
	has to provide a monthly report to the Management Committee

h	It is proposed that there is an "Activities" sub-committee comprising
	the Social Secretary, Sponsorship Officer and Club Administrator
	to keep sponsors informed of events and responses

i	It is proposed that the 12 month Calendar of PRSLFC Events
	is handed out at the Registration Evenings

NEXT STEPS

If the Management Committee is in agreement in principal at the next 
meeting I will review the figures and possible return once the Position 
Functions/Responsibilities have been completed.
