Minutes of Committee Meeting. Tuesday 22nd November, '05.
Venue: Kitchener Park Clubhouse, Mona Vale.
Time: 7.20pm commenced.
Attendence:

S. Gould, P. Symonds, C. Barber.

AGENDA.
1). Welcome.
§ President Peter Symonds welcomed the Committee and Guests to the Meeting.
§ The 9th November '05 Minutes were read and accepted as a true copy.
Moved by L. Gale. Seconded by T. Frost.
2). Business arising from last months Minutes.
§ Discussion re: Richard Paddle P/L (Res) Coach and "Terms of the Agreement".
§ Discussion re: Gear and suggestion to save gear till after Xmas and to liase with
Dumphy re: overseas.
§ Discussion re: Kitchener Park Grounds. Further liason to be made with Les Munn at
Pittwater Council and Phil Ashworth (Touch Football).
§ Discussion re: MWFA and Over 35's Teams for 2006.
§ Discussion regarding the need to write to the MFWA - Jeremy Toivenon to assist
Pittwater Club with extra fields in 2006 to include ?? Rat Park (plus the lights),
Lake Park, Boondah, Newport Oval and Pittwater High School.
3). President's Report.
§ Order for 2006 Training Shirts - attended. Liason with K. Kerrie.
§ New Sponsor for 2006. Sponsorship at $3,000.00 / year for 3 years.
K. Kerrie looking into Logo.
§ Coca Cola refund due for $229.99 . To send Tax Refund.
§ Bruno offering to provide Goal Keeping sessions for a 6 to 8 week period.
Costing to be sort. Offer to include:
A) One night for Junior players. B) One night for Senior players.
§ To order a second Trophy Cabinet from John Sacco in time for World Cup in 2006.
4). Secretary's Report.
· Nil.
5). Treasurer's Report.
· Nil.
6).Registrar's Report.
· Registrations for 2005 = 1357 registered players.
· Membership usually increase by 60 to 80 each year.
· Expect Registrations for 2006 to be about 1450 memberships.
7). Competition Secretary's Report.
· Nil.
8). MWFA Report.
· Discussion re: Sporting Union Levy.
· Discussion re: Cromer Park Levy.
· To provide the MWFA with a new photo of the:
a) Playing Strip. B) Training Strip. T. Frost to look into.
*Discussion re: Fees to be paid by Players in Representative Teams at $800.00 per Player.
* Cost to MWFA of one Representative Player = $1,300.00.
9). Ground Manager's Report.
· D. Gale discussed that Kitchener Park needed
a) Turf
b) Top Soil, preferably in December / January months prior to The Gradings in
February '06 and the trial Games in March '06.
10). Gear Manager's Report.
* Nil.
11). Ladies Report.
· Nil.
12). Girls Report.
· T. Frost predicted that there would be an increase in junior Girls registrations in 2006
by about 10% due to the influence of the World Cup.
13). General Business.
a L. Gale discussed the Pittwater RSL Xmas Party due Sunday 27th November at the national
Fitness centre at Narrabeen from 11.30am till 2pm.
Lunch starts at 12 midday. Need minimum of 4 helpers from the Committee.
b L. Gale discussed Committee Badges from De Zign-A-Badge on 1800 141 662 and Bumper
stickers can be purchased from Kerry Kerrie.
c President Peter Symonds "Thanked the Committee" of 2005 for their help and assistance.
d President Symonds thanked the ongoing support of the RSL Club and Hungry Jacks for
their Sponsorship to the Pittwater RSL Football Club.
e President Symonds recapped 2005 and included:
1) 5 x Teams in the Champion of Champions.
2) Ladies 2005 season = excellent.
3) Girls 2005 season = excellent.
4) Boys 2005 season = good.
5) peter stated that he thoroughly enjoyed the 2005 year as President of the
Pittwater RSL Football Club.
f) President Symonds could not commit to standing for a position on the Executive Committee
for 2006 due to personal reasons - at this point in time.
1 President Symonds declared all Committee positions now vacant.
2 Trevor Frost "Thanked" Peter Symonds for his outstanding leadership as President
of the Pittwater RSL Football Club during 2005.
3 Trevor Frost also commented on Peter's ongoing loyalty and commitment to the
Football Club on behalf of the Committee.
Meeting Closed at 7.45pm prior to the AGM.
