	STAKEHOLDERS UPDATE ON CONTACT PROGRESS

Hi - here is an update on the EasyBiz 32 Council Consortium
Electronic Hub tender to "reduce the regulations for home and Small
Business users"

The emails requesting copies of the defined Data Dictionary with
existing Standards have been placed on the Information Management
profile of the tender

As yet we have not received a response to the emails sent on Wed
30 Aug about the 1 week delay in their response or the Data
Dictionary

The Briefing meeting power point presentation has been place in the
communication index.

The project has been allocated $ 6.2 Million but there is not an indication
of how much is allocated to interfacing the EasyBiz Data Dictionary
with individual Council applications

The interesting part to note that on the Whittlesea Council web site
(Whittlesea are the Project Management Council) they have
a web page for forums for local businesses.

The Council has really been trying to help local SMEs to network
together with 19 different Forums

The biggest by far is the "New Whittlesea/Diamond Valley Working
Group" with 733 viewings for 26 postings since 2005/02/01 compared
with 467 viewings for 4 postings since 2004/09/26 for the next forum
"New Business Opportunities

However the majority of posting state that "Advertising is the Killer"
not form filing !

Hence the Council and EasyBiz may be interested in the
CZAG Sports initiative to stimulate Local Business Advertising
via team sponsorship on the Web

Here is the current position with the communication between CZAG
and the Australian Sports Commission

Perhaps someone ought to contact EasyBiz to explain that getting
new businesses is more important to SMEs than reducing Council
costs !

Will keep you informed of any response before 17 Mon 04 Sep 2006

regards
